ago, more than half of the adult Rwandans (52%) were financially excluded. That single insight marked a turning point for Rwanda\u2019s financial sector. It was a call to action that led to the creation of Access to Finance Rwanda (AFR) in 2010, with a bold mandate to act as a market catalyst to address the systemic barriers that kept millions of Rwandans outside the financial system. Today, the landscape has dramatically changed.
