The impact of COVID-19 on the Rwandan economy has been significant. The Government of Rwanda, development partners, and other stakeholders continue implementing several initiatives to cushion the pandemic’s effects and jumpstart the economic recovery process. These initiatives aim to support the recovery of the business hardest hit by COVID-19, including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and address other urgent needs brought to light by the COVID-19 pandemic.​
