SACCOS and Savings Groups Development
Mr. Frank Baguma currently works with Access to Finance Rwanda (AFR) as a Program officer for SACCOs and Savings groups Development since Feb 2017, Frank has been supporting in developing and designing projects that promote financial inclusion especially for low income people both on supply and demand side of financial services for smallholder farmers who are mainly organized in Savings groups through partnership with implementing partners who include mainly Savings and credit cooperatives (SACCOs) ,Microfinance institutions to innovate and deliver products and services that create positive change and impact for low income people . He previously worked with Global communities Rwanda on a USAID funded project called Integrated improved livelihood program(IILP) as Financial services specialist for 3 years and prior to that he worked with Banks and Microfinance institutions including Urwego opportunity Bank in Rwanda and Diamond Trust Bank and Cairo International Bank in Kampala, Uganda. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Maastricht school of management in The Netherlands. He is a PRINCE2 certified project manager by Axelos and certified financial training expert by Rwanda Institute of cooperatives and entrepreneurship.
