Kampeta Pitchette Sayinzoga’s career, she has been driven by a single question: how do you get capital to reach the people and businesses that markets often overlook?
With more than two decades of leadership in Rwanda’s public and financial sectors, she has served at the World Bank, the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning as Permanent Secretary and Secretary to the Treasury, and the Office of the Prime Minister as Director of Cabinet. She previously led the Development Bank of Rwanda (BRD), where she oversaw a widely recognised institutional transformation that strengthened the bank’s financial performance while expanding its development impact.
She currently serves on several regional and international boards, including the African Trade Transformation Fund and the World Bank President’s Economic Advisory Panel. A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of Nottingham, she is passionate about building institutions that unlock opportunity, strengthen markets and improve lives.
