Louis Kayigire

Kayigire Louis is a finance and business development professional with extensive experience in banking, cooperative management, and enterprise support. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance management and accounting from ISTCE/BUKAVU. He currently serves as Terimbere Satellite Office Coordinator – Rusizi at Access to Finance Rwanda (AFR), where he supports MSMEs in accessing financial services and strengthening their business capacity.

Prior his role in AFR, he worked as a Relationship Officer at BANK OF AFRICA RWANDA PLC, where he managed and grew retail and SME portfolios. He also served as Branch Manager at BPR, leading branch operations and driving financial performance.

Louis’ earlier roles include Manager at COOP.COPRORIKI in Rusizi, Accountant at COTCORI LTD a rice factory, Administrative Officer at Pana African Digital Development in Kigali and Credit Officer at Microfinance UMURIMO. Across these positions, he gained strong experience in financial management, customer relationship management, cooperative development, and operational leadership.

Louis is passionate about empowering entrepreneurs, improving financial inclusion, and contributing to sustainable economic growth in Rwanda.
