Reverien Mutangana

Alain is the Project Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Manager at Access to Finance Rwanda (AFR). Prior to his current role, he served as a Monitoring and Results Measurement Specialist at AFR. He is responsible to oversee a portfolio of AFR projects and works closely with project leads to plan, track, and generate learning from results, ensuring that evidence of development impact is clear, timely, and actionable.

Alain has over seven years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, having worked with organizations such as FXB Rwanda and the Education Development Center (EDC), primarily on USAID-funded projects. He is a qualified M&E practitioner with strong expertise in results measurement and learning.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Applied Statistics from the University of Rwanda and a Master of Science in Economics from Kigali Independent University (ULK).
